We get that one size doesn't fit all, so we tailor every step of the process from proposal to planning and event delivery: starting with the basics and producing a plan which guarantees you’ll achieve what you set out to.

katy Co-Founder
Being in the business I love for over 14 years fills me with so much pride! It all started when I was just a teen and my mum worked for an event management agency, I would help her to stuff delegate packs and badges – I caught the bug!
It is certainly a lifestyle, not just a job, that I have lived and breathed for as long as I have worked. From intimate, incentive experiences to complex conferences for 500 that you spend 12 months planning, I get the same incredible buzz every time I see my events come together and see the emotions that events can evoke.
I get a kick out of getting to know people, building relationships, and forming mutual respect and honesty. Creating magic for others is all I know, and I am excited to be able to share that personal passion with new clients and familiar faces alike.

Cape Town – I smiled the whole time I was there! The views, the wine, the people – wow!
When I am not planning up a storm you will find me…
I recently took up the couch to 5k challenge, so I now run (jog!) Also doing lots of walking with my family, climbing, exploring, and jumping in muddy puddles with my little boy Oliver!

Since I was 5 years old, I knew I was never going to be a 9-5 kinda girl when I told my mum on a plane that I wanted to be an air hostess! Tried that for a bit…
My first real taste of events was managing special projects for Rolls Royce. I found that once the project was up and running, I needed to move on and start the next and then the next. I then moved into managing charity sports events and then finally I entered the world of corporate events and never looked back.
I believe that you should never stop learning and trying to better that last event, which I always aim to do.
The thing I love most about the events industry is the people, the daily connections made, relationships formed and a mutual love of seeing the world & sharing new experiences!

It seems strange to think that the only reason I knew you could plan events as a career was because I watched the movie Sliding Doors and saw Gwyneth Paltrow coordinating a very swish restaurant launch. That was honestly the moment of realisation that there was no other job for me.
I soon learned that planning events isn’t just a swishy restaurant launch, they come in lots of wonderful shapes and sizes and it is that which really cemented my love for the Industry, no one day would ever be the same again.
I have been lucky enough to rack up a good few years of experience working with some incredible brands creating inspiring incentive and conference experiences across the globe.
13 years later I am putting all that priceless experience to good use and creating something extra special, BeSure Events.

My favourite place in the world is…
Sorrento on the Neapolitan Riviera, I have been there many times and I never get bored of the stunning views, incredible food and the pace of life.
Sitting in the Piazza Tasso drinking an espresso and watching the world go by is my idea of heaven.
When I am not planning up a storm you will find me…
Walking my boxer dog Brutus with my family. I love being outdoors, it fills me with peace and a sense of well being.
If I am not walking Brutus I could be found eating a burger... burgers they make me happy :-)

Spiders, wasps, the dark and ghosts…... it’s an irrational fear
